01How is a Celebrity CMO different from a marketing agency?
An agency sells services. Celebrity CMO builds and operates growth systems. We embed with your business as a fractional marketing department, fractional sales function, creative team, or integrated growth partner depending on what the business needs. We are not built to be another vendor you have to manage. We are built to help manage the strategy, execution, optimization, and accountability behind the work.
02What does the engagement process look like?
Every engagement starts with a conversation. From there, the engagement moves through four phases: Research and Analysis (we establish the baseline), Strategy (we build the plan from the research), Tactical Execution (we build, launch, and implement the systems), and Ongoing Execution, Optimization, and Reporting (we monitor data, optimize, and report on what matters).
03How long does a typical engagement last?
For most non franchise marketing or sales engagements, the minimum is typically 3 months. The preferred structure is usually 6 months, especially when the work includes deeper systems like SEO, CRM, paid media, creative, ecommerce, or a full fractional department model. The goal is not the shortest possible window. The goal is to build a long term relationship where Celebrity CMO becomes a valuable extension of the business.
04How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on scope. A single fractional leader is structured differently than a full department engagement. A paid media engagement is different from a custom website build. A franchise development system is different from a B2B lead generation system. We quote each engagement after understanding the business, the goals, the complexity, and the level of support required. The best way to get clarity is to have a conversation.
05I am a franchisor. How do you compare to franchise brokers?
For franchisors, Celebrity CMO works alongside UnitLock Franchising to create a dedicated franchise development system. Brokers often represent multiple brands at once and may move candidates between competing franchise opportunities. Celebrity CMO and UnitLock are built to create a brand specific candidate acquisition and franchise sales system around your franchise. Your brand. Your leads. Your pipeline. Your candidate journey. Your franchise system. Not a shared marketplace.
06What industries do you serve?
Celebrity CMO is built around a flexible operating framework, but the core solution areas are franchise systems (both franchisors and franchisees), B2B lead generation, B2C lead generation, ecommerce growth, and personal brands. The framework adapts to the business model. A franchisor does not need the same system as an ecommerce brand. A personal brand does not need the same system as a local franchisee.
07Do you offer project based work or is everything retainer?
The core model is retained because the fractional department approach requires ongoing commitment, context, optimization, and accountability. That said, defined deliverables can be scoped as projects when it makes sense. Examples include custom website builds, brand identity, brand guidelines, video production, creative production, landing pages, custom ecommerce builds, dashboards, and technology builds.
08What results can I expect?
That depends on your starting point, market, offer, sales process, budget, operational readiness, and the scope of the engagement. We do not promise overnight results, guaranteed revenue, guaranteed ROAS, or guaranteed returns because anyone who does is not being honest with you. What we do promise is that the strategy will be rooted in research, the execution will be handled seriously, the work will be measured transparently, and decisions will be made based on the data.
09How do I get started?
Fill out the form on this page or anywhere on the site. We will schedule a conversation to learn about your business, your goals, your challenges, and whether there is alignment. If there is a fit, we will walk through the recommended scope, answer your questions, and outline what the engagement could look like. No pressure. No gimmicks. Just a real conversation about the business.
10Do you work with companies outside the United States?
Yes. Celebrity CMO can work with companies outside the United States when the business, communication structure, scope, and time zone expectations make sense. Most of the work can be handled virtually through calls, shared systems, dashboards, project management, and digital communication.
11Can we start with one service and scale to a full department?
Absolutely. Not every client needs the full Celebrity CMO ecosystem on day one. Some businesses start with one focused service, such as paid media, SEO, CRM, web design, or fractional leadership. Others need a larger department level engagement from the beginning. Celebrity CMO can start with a specific capability and expand over time as the relationship grows and the business needs more support.
12Do you work with our existing team or replace them?
Both models can work. Celebrity CMO can plug into an existing internal team, manage outside vendors, support internal operators, or operate as the fractional department when the business does not have the right team in place. The goal is not to create unnecessary disruption. The goal is to make the growth function work better.
13Is ad spend included in your pricing?
No. Ad spend is separate from Celebrity CMO service fees. In most cases, clients pay ad platforms directly through their own ad accounts. Celebrity CMO manages the strategy, setup, campaigns, optimization, creative direction, and reporting, but the media spend itself stays separate.
14Do you guarantee results?
No. We do not guarantee revenue, ROAS, leads, rankings, signed deals, franchise sales, or specific outcomes. There are too many variables outside any marketing company’s control: market conditions, offer strength, sales process, budget, competition, operations, follow up, platform behavior, and buyer behavior. What we guarantee is the standard of the work: serious strategy, serious execution, transparent reporting, and active optimization.
15Who is Celebrity CMO not a fit for?
Celebrity CMO is not a fit for companies looking for cheap vendor work, disconnected tasks, set it and forget it campaigns, or someone to blame while refusing to look at data. It is also not a fit for businesses that want serious growth but are unwilling to provide access, context, feedback, approvals, or the basic operational cooperation required to execute well. The right buyer does not need to be perfect. The right buyer needs to be serious.
